“ What a joy!! We are visiting from British Columbia and friends introduced us to this wonderful oasis off the beaten path. Very accommodating and friendly owner/hostess - Claudia. The food was stellar...mmmm We had the shrimp ceviche, the garlic fish fillet and three of us had the super burro - chicken. We’ve never had such flavourful ceviche! Thank you!!! ”
“ To start with... people need to stop confusing this business with Smokey's and leaving bad reviews here. If you had a bad experience with Smokey's, take that up with them. These are two separate restaurants.... Now, as to Barriles grill... The food here is CONSISTENT and consistently good! Service was great. The menu has a lot shrimp and other seafood options. The salad was fresh and crisp...delicious. I love the salsa here. The young lady working speaks very good English and is always pleasant to visit with. ”

“ Vegans! Take note this is one of the few restaurants in it's general area that will make you vegan food. We came every night during our stay for the vegan tacos made with sauteed veggies that come with amazing guacamole, pico de gallo and salsa all on the side. This is not on the menu so be specific when you order. And for non-vegans, the shrimp tacos are to die for! ”
